Hello and welcome to this English course given at the María Concepción Farías Pérez de León Elementary School!
This school is located in the city of Tecoman (from the nahuatl "Tecol" or "Tecolli" = "grandfather" and "Man" = "Place" which forms the phrase "The place of our grandfathers")(1) in Colima, a warm city that welcomes its visitors and inhabitants with a beautiful sculpture of a lemon tree, product that gives this city its global fame. This monument is filled with a lot of simbolysm for the people of Colima having 10 lemons which represents the 10 cities in the state of Colima. This monument also represents the union and hope of the whole city.(2)
